are so many ways for students like you to plug in and experience the best of
music, theatre, dance and visual art. With two theatres, a concert hall, courtyard,
rehearsal and studio spaces, our $22 million facility is first-class in every

See the World Differently!
You won’t find your everyday artists here at the Modlin Center. We present many
of the nation’s top performers for a fraction of what you would pay in New York.
Our Great Performance series features hip music, dance and theatre acts. You
may not realize it, but you’ve seen many of them before in movies and on television
like humorist David Sedaris, radio host Garrison Keillor, MOMIX
and Rockapella. Take a chance. Take a break. Try something new--something
live.
Many of our events are free for University of Richmond students. For events
where we do charge, UR students pay no more than $8 (while everyone else pays
$30 or more). (Produced separately by the Department of Theatre & Dance,
University Players & Dancers productions are $10 or 2-tickets-for-$15.) As most events require
tickets, visit our Box Office located in the Modlin Center main lobby or call
our ticket hotline at 804-289-8980. We even take SpiderCard (in-person or by
phone only). Online ticketing is available on this website, but convenience
fees do apply.

a group of friends.
A performance at the Modlin Center is a great way to impress a date or that
special someone. All evening shows start at 7:30 pm so just add dinner before
or dessert afterwards at one of our
featured restaurants for a terrific evening. Our magic makes the moment
a great experience to share. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries and any special
occasion. (We’re also a great place to bring your parents if you’re entertaining
them for the weekend!)

to work backstage, in the box office or in several house management positions.
Most student employees stay with us for their entire time at Richmond. It’s
